{"id":155,"date":"2025-10-30T10:22:30","date_gmt":"2025-10-30T10:22:30","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.he-icarus-project.eu\/?p=155"},"modified":"2025-10-30T10:27:40","modified_gmt":"2025-10-30T10:27:40","slug":"furnace-test-cira","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.he-icarus-project.eu\/index.php\/2025\/10\/30\/furnace-test-cira\/","title":{"rendered":"Furnace test @ CIRA"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>In the frame of the work package fully dedicated to the design and development of the flexible thermal protection system (F-TPS) for ICARUS re-entry demonstrator, <strong><em>CIRA <\/em><\/strong>(Italian Aerospace Research Center), design authority of the F-TPS, executed the <strong>Furnace test<\/strong> <strong>campaign<\/strong>. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>This dedicated test effort, performed at <em>CIRA<\/em> premises in Spring 2025, aimed at the verification of the thermal properties and performances of the various F-TPS layup materials adopted in the design configuration.
